A Micro Four Thirds sensor at 20.4MP doubles the effective focal length of any lens mounted on it, so telephoto reach comes cheaply in both size and money and wide-angle coverage costs more of both. It is the smallest of the three formats here, and the systems built around it are correspondingly compact.
Video, stabilisation and weather sealing
4K runs to 60p, giving headroom for smooth motion or a modest slow-motion cut. 10-bit recording internally means colour survives grading rather than banding when pushed. A log profile is available, which trades a flat-looking file for latitude in post.
In-body stabilisation steadies any lens mounted on it, including primes with no stabilisation of their own. The body is weather-sealed.
