What Micro Four Thirds means in practice
A Micro Four Thirds sensor at 16.1MP doubles the effective focal length of any lens mounted on it, so telephoto reach comes cheaply in both size and money and wide-angle coverage costs more of both. It is the smallest of the three formats here, and the systems built around it are correspondingly compact.
Video and stabilisation
4K tops out at 30p, which covers standard delivery but leaves no room for slowing footage down.
